I have Frostwire 5.3.5
Java 6, update 31
Using 64-bit system
Ive tried uninstalling and re-installing both java and frostwire and even using revo uninstallation and the same problem keeps occuring. Tried restarting my computer after each download as well. I would very much like some help
Stringer207 wrote:Hahahah alright I got it working again. So looking into my McAfee Security Center, which is my anti-virus, I found Frostwire in my firewall settings and for some reason the "Frostwire Launcher" was set to blocked. So I set it to outgoing and opened Frostwire and sure enough everything started running like usual and I get search results and everything.
Thank you for your time

I did the second thing also and when I press enter it gives me 120 results.

Not to sound ungrateful for all the help, but what was the point of the "UBUNTU" search? I'm a bit unclear as to what this was in aide of.
And why do I need to now use a manual port whereas, I've never in the 2 years that I've used Frostwire changed a single setting? Is it perhaps not possible that there is another problem that has nothing to do wih the ports? I still downloaded last night with random port that Frostwire recommends.
This is becoming extremely frustrating after using this program for 2 years with no issues and now to have all these problems all at the same time.
