5.3.3 - Startup

I Installed 5.3.3 I have Options>Advanced>System Boot turned on. I rebooted after installing 5.3.3 FW did not come up.

Did this ever work for you Zooky? (It never has on Mac)

As a matter of personal preference and system management, I almost never use program supplied "start on boot" options. Those usually end in the registry and can cause headaches is there are problems. I usually put my start programs in the start folder or in the task scheduler, neither of which requires editing the registry in the event of a problem.

Yes, I've used that since Moses was in puberty. Works just fine. I only use this option on a very select array of programs - FW is one of them. However, y'all kin go back to sleep. Looks like this was one of those "icks after 1st install" things. All subsequent boots show that it's back to working quite well.

It do under normal circumstances that why I taken by surprise when it didn't work. But, all's well now.
