Update to latest version - Uninstall old first?

I just downloaded the ver 5 Frostwire update, but can I install it over my existing ver 4.2, or do I have to UNinstall my existing version first?

Which Operating system are you using?
In Mac you may need to rename your old Frostwire something like Frostwire4 first , and if you were to re-download 5.0.7 fo WINDOWS now you would find it is a different installer and would hopefully install no problem next to Frost 4
