Postby gubatron » Tue Dec 03, 2013 7:42 pm

HI there everyone (specially UK Users)

Please give this FrostWire 5.6.9 beta build 1 installers a try and let us know if it breaks in any way

Windows

Ongoing Changelog:

frostwire (5.6.9) stable; urgency=high

* Significant memory optimizations on search result parsing and display.
* Removed jDownloader libraries, less complexity, lighter app.
* Cloud audio downloads are much smaller, no audio demuxing necessary from
video services.
* Cloud video DASH download support.
* Smarter playlist name suggestion algorithm takes into account ID3 tags.
* Fixes bug where new playlists wouldn't be saved if default name was used.

Not all UK users are affected ;) So sorry I can't give any definitive information myself.
Please do not Private Message me with questions that can equally well be posted in the forums, and may also help others. Do use the forum search.

fww - using my vpn, I made it look like I was in London. Using 5.6.8 I did some searches and printed off the "hits". I then installed 5.6.9 and redid the searches. BIG difference in the # of hits!

Don't you just feel so safe knowing that your government is protecting you against those nasty internet pirates and insuring that the Mega distributors will have a lock on prices and distribution?
