Woah. Cool. I could use some of these in the future.

Was it Frostwire's homepage where I got my PodtoPc thingy... that's useful.

Frostwire forums need a rep system.

But until then... we'll RP it.

+10 Rep.

V Downloader
old versions
Image

this is like the koyote flv my tube downloader

MAKE SURE TO OPT OUT OF ASK TOOL BAR

The interface contains four large icons: Download, Search, Browser, and Settings. By default, VDownloader is set to monitor the clipboard when it's running, so as soon as we copied the link to a video, the program responded and asked us for Save As information. It's a small thing, but some programs don't allow you to choose a file name up front and it can be hard (without opening each file) to know what video you've downloaded if the file name is auto-assigned. The download began immediately after choosing the file name and location. You also can change this setting and manually paste a video link in to the URL field, but we preferred the time-saving clipboard monitoring step. VDownloader also lets you select the format you want to save video files in, another nice touch. Options include AVI, MP3, iPhone/iPod compatibility, and the original format.

The free program includes two useful extras. The first is the Search capability, which allows you to enter a video name and simultaneously search YouTube, Daily Motion, Google, and Yahoo Video. You can uncheck any of the four sites, but you aren't allowed to add any extras. The second extra is a built-in browser, which doesn't have any of the niceties you'll find in Firefox or Internet Explorer, but does include more than 20 bookmarks to video sites and a quick Download Video button for when you find a file you want to save. We recommend this free, easy-to-use video file downloader for any user.

its like the koyote flv downloader
but no preview during converting with probably takes more memory
i like the browser i can go into you tube and do my thing as well as browse

also u can preview the video with green > and then v download when ready

i also like you can dl w link and convert from flv if you want to manually

Easy converter
Image
other softwares for FLV
cut & join
convert
snap shot
EDIT THE FILM edit the film your way
PLAYS EVERY FILE AVAILABLE in viewer
EVEN A DVD ! right on the ROM
extract audio to mp3

* CONVERT PASS
* PLAY on player PASS

AVI XVID PASS
MP3 PASS
MPG1 Pass\
PIC format PASS
MOV PASS
REAL PLAYER FAIL i think needs special codec
VOB PASS

* FLV PASS
* FLV to AVI PASS
* CUT Pass

* JOIN PASS
* snapshot PASS

only downside - webpage open on start up so just close it

works well if joining doesn't work due to illigal frame rate with other software this will DO IT

Rating VERY GOOD
easy to use
DOES EVERYTHING

works well if you have illegal joining issues w parameters
unlike video edit master which has issues w parameters
although has no preview during convert its ok not big deal
and like quick converter by cocoon it doesn't freeze, although converting can take bit time w big files
and has as much as in the menu as cocoon
NO ADWARE JUNKWARE OR ANY TOOL BARS
i still use my free converter 1.0
but found that again vid master has isues w parameters so good back up all in 1

3 PREVIEW VID /COPY URL

4 CLOSE Vdownloader
5 OPEN atube catcher PASTE
6 downwnload/convert

I'm glad there is an opportunity to get free software. It's good we can use many programs for free. It's like watching free online TV. No paid subscribtions, no cable services:) Or using Skype video calls to communicate with our friends having a chance to see each other. Or even free Internet browsers that we use to surf through various websites. The only thing we have to pay for is Internet connection. Just amazing, right?

Spamming attempts especially for products that I, as a Mac user, can not check out, are not appreciated.

@HannahJohn

I believe there are links for all the software and since it is free, of course there is no need for a key.

We are not interested in Warez nor are we interested in spurious posts with added spam signatures.

Perhaps you will consider this if you do post again which will not be for a little while.
