The Federal Court had ordered that LimeWire be fully shut down permanently due to copyright infringement.

"U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood in Manhattan entered a permanent injunction, ordering the service to disable the searching, downloading, uploading or file trading of its software and to block the sharing of unauthorized music files."

The LimeWire is out of the file-sharing business. But they are going on with a different approach of something new...
And thats what happened to limewire...thanks-Outlaw101 PS Frostwire is legal

To add, the creators are being sued for a ridiculous $75 Trillion by the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA) :roll:
