Do click on my help link in my sig line for more than you ever wanted to know about FrostWire and torrents, in general, but to answer your question: FrostWire will download movies or any torrent in can access. There are many public domain movies that are available, but DO know and understand the risks of downloading current, copyright movies. DMCA take down notices, or worse are not fun. My pages, and this forum, are filled with discussions of that.
