DVD Issues

Postby treenag1 » Mon May 07, 2012 9:23 am

I downloaded a movie off the website then burned it onto a blank DVD with windows media player. I played it back on the computer and it worked fine, but when I tried to play it in my home DVD player it kept saying disc error...what is going on?

The computer videos are usually avi, mp4 or any of the many formats currently in use. None of these are the format that DVD players utilize, in native mode. Some of the newer DVD players will play computer formats, but that's not really what you want.

I think I've used this one - it is in my menu and looks familiar. It is an open source project, so the price is right.
