For those of you with connection problems, try this:
First, find your preferences folder. The location of your preferences folder depends
on which operating system is involved. It is not the program folder and is always
located in your personal folders on the disk.
Windows XP and Windows7:
Start > Run > Type %appdata%\FrostWire in the box > Click OK
Windows Vista:
Open any folder window > Type %appdata%\FrostWire in the box at the top
Mac OS/X:
users > your name > library > Preferences > Frostwire
linux:
/home/[Your Name]/.frostwire
Now that you have that folder in view, do this:
1. Shut down FrostWire completely.
2. Download this full sized copy of the hostiles list: hostiles.zip
3. Double-click it to open the zip and drag hostiles.txt into your preferences folder.
4. Download this file next and put it into that same folder: gnutella.net
5. Start FrostWire again.
If you still have a problem, post more information on your setup so that somebody can help you.
Since FrostWire runs on many different platforms there's no point in trying to guess what will work for you.
