I have Windows 7 and I would like to know how I can stop Frostwire from opening on boot/start up? I have tried the previous suggestion but my computer doesn't give me the options that the suggestion provided.
Thank you
Tracy

I first go to all programs which gives me a list that I scroll down and click on startup and it shows the icon and "Frostwire On Start Up" I can right click on it and and I have several options none of which identify startup/or disconnect. But there is a "properties" option, which leads to six tabs, "general, shortcut, compatibility, previous version, details, and security" does that help any?

hi tlfortson,

yep that sure does help, you sound like me a year ago.

i'm sorry, the picture doesnt make it clear.

first, open Frostwire, then in FW go to, tools > options > advanced > system startup.

while youve got 'options' open, have a look around at the other settings you can play with.
if you get in any trouble you can 'restore defaults'.

learn how to backup your music files to a new folder on desktop or an external HDD, before you change your save/share location (saves tears latter)

have fun.

This is not working. I have tried to change the settings several times and the settings will not change. What do I do now?

After changing the setting you must click Apply and then OK

(This can be disabled at Frostwire> Tools> Options> Advanced> System Boot. as I said in my reply to your other post)
