Do not get any search results.

Postby alderwood » Sat Jan 03, 2009 1:32 pm

I do not get any search results of items I used to get a screen full of.
Frostwire keeps on searching and i have to stop manually.but no result shows.
I downloaded v4.17.2 but this doesnot change a thing.\
Somewhere a read that I have to delete all hosts listed untill there are 5 left but
whatever I delete, one or more, these are all replaced by new ones.

I hope that somebody can help me.

I'm not clear if your Frosty is connected. Does it show turbocharged connection at the bottom left corner?

In the connection window if you see status ultrapeer (which is likely if you are showing more than 5 connected hosts), go to Tools > Options > advanced > Performance > disable ultrapeer and also while you are there disable TLS.

When you say you have to stop searching manually ... how long do to leave it until you do this?

Please go to the forum rules at the top of the forum and give us as many answers to the list of questions there as you can.
Please do not Private Message me with questions that can equally well be posted in the forums, and may also help others. Do use the forum search.

Thank you very much for your reply, which I received just before I was about to report that things seem to be back to normal.
I get a heap of search result in a jiffy.
Turbo charged connection is showing.
Only 5 hosts appear.

When search did not work, searching kept on for quite some minutes.

Of course I have no idea what went wrong, but I have saved your reply in case
it would happen again.
