Frostwire 6.4.3 possible adware Dealply?

Postby olywa1978 » Tue Jan 17, 2017 10:24 am

I was just using Frostwire and was prompted to download the latest update, version 6.4.3. I use AVG Free antivirus and this download triggered an AVG detection as possible "adware Dealply". I will attempt to include a screen cap showing the Frostwire update and the AVG notification. I'm not familiar with HTML, so not sure if it will come up. Could there be an infected component in this update? If so, how do I avoid downloading it? Should I just avoid this update altogether? Thanks
