BT Junkie

Isn't BT Junkie aptly named? Most of the stuff on it is actually junk!
Now for my question: How come some of the things on BT Junkie have a date 'Created' well ahead of todays date? Also, anyone got any ideas how to filter out the junk?

Many thanks,

CharlieB :?

I was under the impression that it was defunct, but if it's still going, I'm not sure I'd use it. As I understand, there is no real verification, and that sounds like a recipe for absolute disaster. No, I don't think you can filter out the junk, nor do I think you have any reason to believe that what you are downloading is what it is purported to be.

My recommendation would be stay away, very far away, from it. There are too many good sources of valid torrents to take such a chance.
