FW on your desk top says: Wife sharing?
Where does it say that? That is a message that I've never seen.
I'm not sure what you mean by - a branch for devices. Another thing I've never seen.
If you could post a screen shot, that may help.

Did you, perchance, forget to put on your glasses before you read his message?

I'd been up all night!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!
  • Apparently it's supposed to look like something like this...
    -Wifi Sharing
    -devices
Then it should list all the devices that are running frostwire and on the network.
Well, -devices is not listed so, there is nothing beneath -Wifi Sharing.

Are there actually other devices running FW on the network?
Do check your firewall and router permissions.
  • I have and both are allowing frostwire to pass through without a hitch.
  • My Android is on the same network and is running Frostwire.
  • Sadly, I have no experience in this area. Maybe someone else will see this thread and respond with helpful information.
  • First of all Make sure your computer and your mobile device are connected to the SAME Wi-Fi hotspot.

If both of them are on the same Wi-Fi network, try to have a strong signal.

If they still don't see each other, try restarting FrostWire on each device that you don't see on the list of devices.

If they still don't see each other and you have access to the Wi-Fi router, check its configuration and make sure "IP Isolation" is not enabled.

If possible restart your Wi-Fi router, usually when devices cannot see each other its due to Wi-Fi router issues.

Try to find a repository version... That may get you going, and make sure you are current on java.
